Underground magic legend Sol Stone is featured in a lengthy segment on The Magic Newswire podcast which has posted its first new interview since January 2014. At age 91 Sol is a living link to the many legends of New York magic who he has known or seen perform during his lifetime. In the discussion Sol reminisces about Dai Vernon, Al Flossso, Jean Hugard, Slydini, Emil Jarrow, Nate Leipzig and many others. The segment is hosted by The Magic Newswire's Dodd Vickers who is joined by Sol's fellow magicians and longtime friends, David Roth and Jeff McBride, as well as by Tom Klem representing the Parent Assembly of the S. A. M. which named Sol as 2014's Magician of the Year. Vickers mentions that the interview is the first in a partnership with The Conjuring Arts Research Center which will preserve the audio recording in its archives.
