On Friday, April 6 Mario will appear in a lecture presented by Parent Assembly, #1 of the Society of American Magicians. In his lecture he goes into detail about the maker movement that has inspired his work and he also discusses the specific system of electronics and programming that facilitates the animation of his props. He provides enough information and resources that anyone interested in utilizing these techniques would have the tools to learn how to do so. The lecture is open to any magician interested in attending (see details below).
Mario has appeared on Sesame Street and NBC Universal's Sprout Channel and is the subject of an award-winning documentary film, Building Magic. Additionally he recently was part of the creative team behind David Baine's North American stage tour.
Mario's lecture will be held at 8 p. m. at Fantasma Magic, 213 West 35th Street, #401. The lecture is free to Parent Assembly members, $20 for other S. A. M. members and $25 for nonmembers.
